He’ll work to lower healthcare costs, strengthen rural healthcare access, and protect coverage for families, seniors, and those with preexisting conditions.

Darin knows what it takes to keep Nebraska’s economy moving forward. At the manufacturing facility he led, success depended on every kind of worker—scientists, engineers, diesel mechanics, welders, electricians, machinists, and technicians. That’s why he partnered with public schools and community colleges to create awareness and strengthen career paths in technical and trade skills. Darin believes every Nebraskan should have the chance to succeed and drive the innovation that defines the good life.

For years, Darin led a manufacturing facility where he set goals to reduce costs and eliminate waste—producing real results through efficiency and smart systems. He brings that same approach to Nebraska’s budget: ensuring every tax dollar is spent wisely to maximize results for families and communities.

Growing up in a rural community, Darin learned the true meaning of helping your neighbor. When illness, job loss, or tragedy strikes, families rely on friends, neighbors, and local nonprofits for support. Darin has lived these values—organizing food drives, building with Habitat for Humanity, and supporting Eagle Scout projects. He also believes government has a role to play: offering a hand up, not a handout, so every Nebraskan has the chance to get back on their feet and thrive.

Darin believes the best decisions for rural Nebraska are made close to home. Strong public schools, responsive city governments, and thriving family farms are the backbone of our communities. Local voices—not distant bureaucrats—know what works best for our kids, our towns, and our land. Darin will fight to keep control in the hands of Nebraskans, where it belongs.
